This one is out of a full size truck so the rod is slightly longer but may work better. I didnt have the time to see how well it fits. I will also throw in a coupling nut so you can cut it to fit if it is too long. I think it will fit better than an asto unit...

Im working on it right now , biggest pains are the firewall plate and the connection to the brake pedal lines from a 1978 malibu station wagon with a 4.3 diesel are a 95% fit

You need mikes kit to reduce the hole for the pedal if the rod is longer.
