I broke into the 12’s last night at Milan Dragway

Loeryder (Jason) inspired me after reading his post on his 12 sec. run.

I took off my zr1 wheel fab up a ram air intake and played with my tire pressures. Added some 112 race gas and set the Ultimate on T2-20
I finally broke into the 12’s.

Temperatures definitely help, as they were around 45 degrees.

My buddy was running his car and my camera last night so I did not get the 12.82 run on video.
I did get the 12.90 run and was very happy with that run alone.
Later it got colder and I ran the 12.82.

Congrats Wade, that is a great time for a stock turbo on a Ty. All these 12 sec Ty are movtivating me to off my arse and get my own 12 sec Time slip before the track close around here. Ofcourse that assume the weather will holds out, it is snowing today ARGH!!!!!

Wow, all this talk about 12's.....hmmmm......20g, updated chip......112 octane , 13.3 with stock stuff, maybe I could get into the 12's now, something to shoot for....

It might help to wait for it to cool down out her, at least into the 60's.....maybe I'll be lucky and get a cold spell, and get 50's or 40's.......(I doubt it)

Nice job. I am happy to see you guys get into the 12's. I had plans to goto the track today. But last night after work I broke my throttle cable. It wont be in for a few days and today was the last day the track was open for the year.

I am glad to motivate you to get it in gear...

My goal this year was just to keep it together and net a 12.99 or better.
Now I am thinking 12.22 is a nice number to shoot for next without going nuts over the winter.

Its all good man don't worry about the video.

The external Mini-gate works pretty good. I'm using a pressure regulator (adjustable from inside the cab) on the second port to control boost. I need to find a better spring to get base boost closer to 15 lbs and the regulator won't have to work to hard.
I didn't want to spend the money on a "real" boost controller but I may still do just that.
