wouldn't think it would have vacuum if it had big leak, not to mention it would be idling high and the idle is perfect. Going out to check a few thing will be back!!!

Re: I need some serious HELP!

I had a similar symptoms when I remove the cruise control and forgot to plug the line. It idles fine, just sputter when building boost, lost of power. Stupid me start changing plugs wire when I saw the vaccum line just hanging there.

even with a vacuum leak (hose being disconnected) it should still make a few psi. a truck will still make 3-5psi with the hose clams off the TB-IC connection. By brake torquing it with the hood up, you should be able to hear a noticeable hissing sound if the leak is severe enough to cause a no boost issue.

my vote in on the exhaust.

Well i disconnected, the downpipe and the truck seems to rev without any sputtering and hard to say if it willmake boost but has power for sure. So my guess is that the cat is clog as soon as i pryed the downpipe against the turbo it sound like it was choking and would sputter under revving.

So we will take the cat off and punch it out for better flow.

what happened?

Disconnected downpipe and it seems to have gone away so it looks to be a clogged Cat. We will know 2morrow after the straight pipe get put in but seems to be the problem.
