IC mist?

has anyone read up on the new subaru sti? It comes with a feature that allows you to mist your ic with water for cooling, anyone running this? Would it work for our trucks, or is it GAY? A/A of course.

I know some peeps have it.... i've heard it isnt worth the effort.

Yes, people here have done it before. The idea is to spray water or alcohol (evaporates quickly if it drips onto the track) onto the IC. To evaporate from a liquid to a gas, it requires energy. It sucks the heat out of the IC.
