I'm going to take the syclone to the shop for some work, need advice ---

pppssssshhhhhtttttttttttt
I think my truck is making a clunking, shaking, grinding sound from the front propshaft. Its been doing this for a couple hundred miles. If it was the propshaft, should I be ready for extra damage?

I will be having them install the Gilbert Propshaft, with a propshaft loop ( I plan to be in the 11's someday ).

Next we will move to the tranny pan. I have a DERALE cooling pan. Is there much to swapping pans? Will they have to move a cross member, and charge me an arm and a leg?

Then I figure this is a good time for them to install my Carbon Fiber driveshaft, and driveshaft loop.

This takes us to the installation of the TA performance rearend girdle.

Does it look like I am missing anything? Should I just take it to a tranny shop , or what type of shop would do all of that without whining ... a SPEED SHOP?

I'm also going to have suspension work done, but I made a thread in the suspension section for that.

THANKS :) ---

I would be doing all of that myself, why take it to a shop for the easy stuff. The cross member should no thave to come off to change pans, but if it's dirty, take the crossmember of and pressure wash it ,then put it back on. Rear drive shaft swap should only take 1/2 ,also change the tranny seal while the shaft is out. Front gilbert isn't that hard to do either, maybe 1/2 or so. Still wondering why your taking it to a shop.

I dont have tools or a garage right now. Thanks for the heads up on the Tranny Seal :)

I still may put this off until I get a garage ... but that may be close to a year.

I'm one of those people that think since its in the shop ... I may as well get as much as possible taken care of. ---

All of that could be done on a driveway. No friends with tools and some automotive skills to help you out? Damn, wish I was closer, I like working on other peoples stuff. Getting tired of working on my own.

the noises could be your front diff instead of the front prop shaft.
