Yeap" shur is.

does it use the stock boost solenoid, or does it come with another one?
also, can you program it? or is it just one setting?

Re: Installed my new E-Boost today.

It uses their solenoid, they give you all the reasons their solenoid design is better than everyone elses but they all say that.

Details are here http://www.turbosmart.com.au/

Plenty of settings, my previous boost controller was hidden in the console and I didn't like not being able to hear the overboost alarm. This one has the usual goodies I guess, overboost protection (chops boost in half if you go to high), three different settings with a different alarm on each one, and external control for the settings. I'm thinking I'll probably wire it to the brake switch for launch control, then when I install alky one of these days wire it to the alky to only allow the highest boost setting if my alky is on and armed.

There are others with more features but I really like the clean look and it has enough features for me. One piece I like is their is a bar of led (not lit in my pic) that you can define the settings for, the last three are red so I could have it set to light up to the max green bar at my desired boost and if it goes any higher to light the next bar which is red, should be a nice easy to see safety feature.

$500. Feature wise I wouldn't exactly call it a good deal, but like you said, it's sexy :D

Nice unit, never seen those before. I do like the analog, but I also like the lights (red to know there is a problem), if I had my choice I'd like one just like the e-boost but with lights around the perimiter that lit up (going around the guage, more like a needle) but still turned red past your set boost point.

I like analog as well but bar sucks IMO and I like psi better.

Bar sucks? Are you referring to the e-boost? You can set it to display bar or psi. Shoot, every guage I've used (sure, it's only three brands) has allowed you to toggle between bar and psi.

Didn't even notice that. Thought you might have been referring to the e-boost as I haven't taken the time to set it to display psi yet.
