installing lightning pump

does it matter which way the hoses are run to the lightning pump from the upper ?? also im havin a MAJOR brain fart , on the lightning pump does the positive and negative matter as far as which way i wire the plug..... man 12 years outta the field catches up fast and makes you feel real stupid at times.... tia

came with a motorcraft connector, wires are the same color.....

wont have time tonight , and heading out fr the week in the morning... i will most definatly do what you suggest and post up results most likely next weekend.

ok here is what i figured out and hope im right,

i mounted my pump like this.

and wired it like this

then popured water down the hose like this

most definatly pumps better if i reverse the leads and make the positive the ground. so obviously mounted in this postion the top post needs to be the ground.
