Hi Guys,
I didn't know if to post this in SyTy Lounge or not, so if the Mods feel thats more appropriate, please move it for me.
I just found something interesting and thought some others on here might do too.
I was just doing a bit of surfing looking for CAC pumps and I came across this site.
http://www.chargecooler.co.uk/index.php
I know many use A2A, but I'm not a fan of all the the big tubes and hoses that go with it,
so I thought I'd post this as it offers a different perspective on CAC design which to be honest I think would fit in our engine bays as long as you are happy with a very non stock design. Its not for me though, I'm too cheap, but I kind of like it over an A2A design, but each to their own. I even thought if you used a front facing intake you could mount the chargecooler on the drivers side with a bit of moving around and ABS delete!
The company describe the principles of some CAC designs that may be of interest too.
Another reason was that they sell their version of the Bosch CAC pump like the one fitted to the Ford Lightning. They claim its a 'hybrid' and performs better than the stock Bosch under pressure. I know some on here use the Bosch.

From what I've read I have been led to believe the Johnson CM30 is more reliable and fits in our truck better than the Bosch, but both have their followers. I just wanted to mention it.
By the way everything is 'UK price' so its more expensive for everything than in the US. The pump however, is cheaper than anywhere else I found over here, even over a 'stock' one. But maybe you get what you pay for! Hope you find it as interesting as I did.
