Intercooler pump not working

So, My truck has a sur-flo pump on it. I always used to be able to click the key to the on position, and I would hear the pump turn on. Since I did had my truck torn apart, and put it back together, the pump seems like it isn't turning on. No sounds, no water coming out not cycling in teh IC.
How do I test it? I am wondering if I did something to it, but I am not sure. ANy hints?

Jeff, did you check the fusable link behind the alternator? Also did you run a power wire right from the battery to make sure the pump will run?

How would you run the wire from the battery? I feel dumb asking that, but...
I did check the fuse, it is OK.

You can use a jumper wire from the positive off the battery to the positve on the pump. Or off a jump pack or another battery might be easier when the pump is on the truck.

Check your IC plug connection Instead of jumping wires Test it with a digital volt meter. Turn key on, probe the connector. Could be a bad ground or dirty connection. Would help to know you have 12v to the connector before you jump it out. The problem could be some where else.

Starting with the connector would help. I believe switching or swapping out the 2 relays up on the fire wall may help out. not sure....

I also use quick-dry electrical cleaner by CRC.

You can always hot wire your pump later on. Can find a spare wire and use it to bench test or make sure your pump works as well before you go on. I personally have a 12v power pack I use to test everything. Snagging a hot from your battery is the same..

OK, I tested the connector, no power to the connector... Will try the relays too

Re: Intercooler pump not working

OK, I checked the pump. It works. The hotwire fell off when I was putting it back together, now another issue. The thing runs ALL the time. Even without the key on.
I have it attached to the TOP power attachment bolt (of the 2 to the left of the relay). Should it be on the bottom one?

I am seeing PNK/BLK , YEL , ORN , RED .

I remember something with the yellow wire on the fire wall- that may be a possible hot wire for a all the time run- I forget. The previous owner of my truck did something up there what looked like a splice. I thought that could be the hot wire.
