we were just talking about this issue in the chat room.
odds are its not worth repairing. would basically come down to core replacement and you might as well upgrade at that point.

With cores so cheap from a place like frozenboost.com it'd be tough to justify the cost, unless you had a severe attachment to that intercooler.

That's my air to water intercooler I built for my truck, I sent those to frozen boost when we did it a few years back, wanted to see if I voided the warranty:rotf::rotf:. They said yes.:rant:

Where did you find the ends, or how did you make them? I would be stoked to buy a kit modified like yours, or a narrower version to retain the AC. I have always liked your IC setup. :tup:

The one end with the round opening came with the IC. I just cut that one off & flipped it to get the opening where I needed it. As for the other end with the oval port, that was all billit.

Got it to something like this: (this was only side A, the inside wasn't hogged out yet.)
I've been tossing around the idea of offering an upgraded upper IC. John's truck should be coming together enough to start playing with some ideas since he's staying somewhat stock while retaining AC. I'll be able to see just what I can stuff in there. I'm sure we'll do something custom for his. I'll post up what we come up with & if there's enough interest, maybe do a GP round?
