figure it would be fun to start coming up with some stuff for the frames...


obviously we want ISTA - International Syclone Typhoon Assoc. on there...

if we can and have room, id like to do some sort of qoute on the bottom section...something like:


Get ready for some ass kicking.
Yeah, its a V6 you just lost to.
You just got beat by a truck.
Boosted + AWD = Your losing.



those are off the top of my head... lets see what we can come up with

If you want something like this made let me know my good friend makes these for a living, has almost everydealership around here. Decals, keyrings, can coolers, anything you need i can get a great deal on them

I don't like the idea of having some taunt message on it. I'd rather have the old "It's not just a truck anymore." or something like that. I think it makes ISTA look more like a professional organization, rather than a bunch of cocky reckless teenagers.

I don't know exactly what type of frames you're thinking of, but maybe "ISTA" with Sy and Ty profiles on top, and "International Syclone Typhoon Association" at the bottom. Or something about AWD V6 Turbo... I'd rather have it say something about ISTA or our trucks, rather than "Neener neener! My truck's better!"

No matter what we do, make sure it gets spell-checked by at least 20 people. Especially if it has its/it's, you're/your/, or they're/their/there... Another concern, some states have the "blank area" at the top, and some have them at the bottom. Perhaps do some "upside down" too, if they're going to cover the "blank spot"?

Just as simple as that. As far as fried rice - we beat more then that. I prefer to not even see rice as a contender. Could always do "the world's quickest production truck or SUV" - depending on what you have. I would prefer the non-shit talking plate frame - but that's just my non-competitive personality coming out :) If you wait for about an hour or so - Competetive Dave will post something different ;)

I like the 0-60 in 4.3 seconds.... in the rain (put the 'in the rain' on the bottom) though that might draw some local enforcement's attention :evil:

i like that bill.
i would go for it. black with white lettering. something that does not stand out way to much but is noticeable.

I like the idea of having two different styles done, one the neener neener style and one professional style and you choose which one you want with the membership and you could purchase the other style at a later date if you wanted. I really like all of adams suggestions and can't decide on just one.

true, rice isnt much of a contender, but when thats what 90% of the people drive around here, thats about all there is to beat. besides i think rice is the most fun to beat. call it little mans complex but its funny to make someone feel stupid for wasting thousands on book shelf wings, happy colored spark plug wires. and flashing lights, trying to turn thier moms car into a "racer" only to get beat by what they think is a 10 year old S-10. the license plate frame just instigates a race, hence bringing me more happiness and enjoyment out of my truck :lol: most of the people around here with f-bodies, mustangs, or any other car that might give us a run, wont even race. so why not have a good time making foolish kids realize that their ricer isnt gonna do 10's just because vin diesel lives his life a quarter mile at a time.

as for the ISTA plate frames... i say yeah make 2, one thats professional, and make one thats fun. i personally would rather have a shirt, maybe something with a small ISTA pocket logo and a big one on the back with outlined pics of our trucks kinda like the ones on the syty.net shirts, only make sure the typhoon says typhoon and not syclone :lol: sorry keith but thats still pretty funny.
