I've been to nationals and I've been to the northeast event.

honestly,

The northeast event, although smaller, is better by far :D

tons of track time.. tons of friendly people, no drama over who builds better parts..

and a much much closer drive. 8)

eitherway, I am going to try to make it to both next year.

its really not a pissing contest between the events. I've only been to one of each - and had lots of fun at both. I'd still like to get more of a turnout at the NE event though. We'll be making the plans earlier for next year to hopefully round up more people.

I guess it is a lot easier to only remember 10 peoples names.
Lol

I only count 8 trucks in the pics tho.
There are 33 pictured at the track from Nats and not everyone was even there so for comparison sake I must say you are off by a bit.

The # of trucks that showed up, doesn't really matter a whole lot to me..

the quality of the people that show up and the lack of stupid drama, means the world and makes the event.

not that is matters...but there were 13 trucks, plus another that showed up at teh track on saturday - but no other day.

not all trucks were present at the lineup pictures.

Their were 15 trucks that show up one time or another, the Syclone with black rims showed up friday as well. Last year their were 18 or 19 trucks that I counted.

ohhhhh, so now the people who go to Nats are not "quality" according to you

Thanks for clearing that up.

That's cause we're all drama queens.

yeah, exactly

Im just saying, that overall my nats experience was very good, I had a blast.. but, because at the time I didn't own a truck, I felt like alot of people could have cared less about who i was.

now, I own two trucks, and ya know what, I could careless if anyone knows who i am.

:D

Well, the thing about NATS is location, location, location. I got to whatever is closer. These trucks are getting older and I don't feel like piling the miles on them (thats just me). If NATS were in Chicago again I would go.
