J&S/KB uninstall

Are there any wiring changes required to install/uninstall a J&S detonation control module?

Got my Ty with an assortment of KB mods on it including (but not limited to) a 40# street chip with a J&S detonation control module. Ive recently removed both but am trying to resolve issues that may be related to ignition timing since the removal the mentioned components. Since I didnt install them, not sure of what may need to be "undone" to restore the wiring back to normal, if anything is needed to be done at all other than simply cutting them out.

Searched and saw nothing that specifically applied.

Took it out because it didnt seem to be helping at all. Retarded when it didnt seem that it needed to and didnt when it clearly needed to. Was told that it was basically junk.

they r actually not junk at all - they're freaking great.
they're adjustable and need to be - i have instruction manual if needed.
also, they're still in business.
i have an email afddress if u need it.
i own 2 - bought one for spare b4 i realized they r still around.
check all connections and adjust it; u may be surprised.
also, u can select or all or selective cylinder retard - use selective.

to bypass the J&S, there should have been two wires near the coill that were cut and had male/female connectors. One pink wire and one white whire if I recall correctly. All you have to do is switch the two wires back to the orginal connector.

I found the J&S worked better retarding all cylinders instead of individually. I like the rev limit because it cuts spark instead of fuel and it's adjustable.
