Killing old Sonoma to save Syclone

SyTyless......for now!
ok crew, before I get into details, i have a quick question: will a 1991-1993 Sonoma/S10 block work for a Syclone engine? this will make sense later. there is an old Sonoma 4x4 shortbed sitting at my school, the tranny is dead and its not worth it for a new one. we want to buy the truck for parts (5-spoke OE aluminum wheels  ), and then i got to thinking, " what if we can use this block in good condition with as many components from the old syclone as possible?" we would be using the block from the sonoma, and heads, crank, cam, turbo, IC, fuel system, ignition, etc from the syclone, but we would get upgraded rods and pistons. we would also use body panels from the sonoma (its a shortbed) to patch up the syclone, and when all is said and done, part out the sonoma. hope this makes sense, and ill let you all know how it goes if i can convince the owner of the sonoma to sell it to us at a good price.

:D hey whats up??? to answer your question, ... yes the block will work, but use the syclone main caps because there better.

id be interested in the 5 spoke aluminum rims, and tires if you part it out.

also i have a extra vortec 4.3 sitting here, ......maybe we can work out a deal on some parts trading and such :D

SS, wll you sell the engine outright? unfortunately the sonoma is being hauled away to the boneyard because the owner really dosent care anymore, and she just dosent want to sell. how much are you asking for the 4.3? all we need is the block, because as mentioned above we would use Sy parts and some new ones.

a $100 dollar bill will take it, :D its a complete short block, with pistons, rods, crank, etc ....

but i have one stipulation .... you HAVE TO BRING ME SOME PICS OF THE "400,000 MILE SY"

just curious, as to what it looks like???

did you get it yet??

if so , did you tear into it yet????

also i have vortec heads that i sell for $200 for the pair, if your interested in more performance than factory heads.

400,000 miles?

is it stock? if it is, they got their money's worth for sure....at $25,000, the purchase price of the truck breaks down to $62.50 for every 1000 miles they drove it....
