Hey Guys only 2 weeks away and i want to confirm the list that i have and if everyone is still coming Sunday Sept 3rd (Time) 12:00 Noon til Whenever, Most people will be showing up around 3-4pm but anyone traveling welcome to come early.

They tried to stick me working at my job, I told them that the earliest I can show up would be about 830 PM, so it looks like I will be showing early, and leaving early. Both my trucks are down right now, but they are on track to both be back up by the 3rd. Can't wait to see everybody there. :tup:

ok...im gonna go and say i cant make it... it has nothing to do with the ty. jusy dont have cash for the school year. i need to work. ill count on everyone to take lots of pictures. while you guys are havin fun ill be at about my 90th hour of work for the week.

I took myself off the main list for multiple reasons.

1. I have company flying in that weekend.
2. Its a holiday weekend and I expressed my concern about that for the last meet.
3. My truck still isnt inspected (expired in June)
4. My truck is still broken (but I did fire it up the other day for the first time since the last meet)

.... but, perhaps if the traffic isnt bad and I need something to do, I'll toss Garths spare tire in the Celica and roll up for a little bit.

Maybe Ill pull a Bill and show up, say hi to everyone, look around, then sneak out 10 mins later and leave, :lol:

Ah...shit happens.....even if you just make an appearance, that will be cool......I plan on drinking myself into oblivion and throwing hotdogs at everyone..(hurts less than horseshoes....) anyways, I know my spare is in good hands...so if you make it ....you do...if you don't ...ya don't....

Well, looks like the TY has no chance of making it, but if I can get in the wrench time on the SY, swapping out the front diff, I should be able to make it with her no problem. I might not show up till around 5 or so. My job has me working 6pm saturday, till 6am sunday, but I will make it down. Can't wait to see everyone there :tup:

Well lets See Garth has spilled his guts on July 4th week bought a motor has had it completely rebuilt and freshened up, His old one ripped out, engine compartment cleaned out, painted, new motor dropped in, after priming motor found hairline facture in oil relocator line, had to muscle that out install new one, install new vacuum lines, start truck and now he is driving it round town. All in four days and a smoking credit card.

Now all he has got to do is clean the baby up and he will be here.

Now if anyone didn't have an excuse to be here it should of been him going through all that crap.

Since many guys have chosen to ABORT this PARTY as the next year approaches, this may be my last meet as i am serious thinking of selling my truck this winter and moving on to fastter and lighter things.

So if anyone else would like to come, you will be welcome to show up with a friend you are welcome. Looks to be a nice weekend Sunny 80 degrees and overnight about 60-65 really nice for the hot tub, fire pit, and some street racing. & horse shoe matches.

took the trans out of the gn tonight, what a pain, oh well i am going to try to get the new one in tomorrow or the next night, this one has a t brake and it uses a new type of bracket i have never installed before so i dont really know what i am doing on this one so it may take a little longer especially by myself. new turbo, drain line, ss stat housing and 160 stat, new wastegate, new maf 4" pipe all in and ready to go. now after the trans and verter i just got the axles, line lock, and vavle springs "which need a special tool i dont have" and i am done for a while before the alm heads intake and major porting happens later this year when i sell more crap.


what are you going to look into after your ty goes?

I was actually thinking of maybe doing a 69-72 nova with maybe a 4.3 turbo set-up in it or a small block with turbo oh do i smell trouble. Or a chevelle 68-69 or my all time favorite 92-93 SS 454 pick-up but same issue weight to power.

So i haven't made the choice to sell yet but it is coming.

Wouldn't mind one of those things sitting in your back yard either.

That is cool as hell, Looks like the weather will break out and we will atleast be a cloudy but dry day and we will have no matter what it is. Of course if it is dry i may give some rides out if i can do some bye runs tonight and play around with my boost controller. Just installed new $400 alternator last night. Gotta have 13.5-14.0 volts to keep this maybe running.
