lifter choices

My lifters are getting a bit loud, so I'm gonna want to change those out soon. Question is, do I stick with the stock lifters or go for hydraulic rollers? Or are they even worth it with a nearly stock engine?

I used Sealed Power HT-2148 stock replacement lifters. Nothing special, because nothing special is really needed. These can be bought from most any auto parts store. My build is not stock, and these have held up fine.

If those are OEM replacements, that's not what my engine had in there when I rebuilt it a few years ago.

They looked just like my stock lifters, I went with comp cam 850-12 lifters and were also similar to stock

x2 on this, I actually have 11 comp 850 lifters, and one Sealed Power HT-2148, as one of my comp lifters was discovered to be bad when I did my last cam swap. Both of these lifters are basically stock style, and either will work fine. They do have to be hydraulic roller, however. The flat tappet hydraulic lifters will not work.
