I should probably ask BW this - but someone else might know this information.

The Ty is getting a lighting upgrade. I stole a pair of Adjure Headlamps with the H4 bulb upgrade from a Syclone. Nice lights - great aim. My problem is the fog lights color is different then the headlights. Not a big deal - drive without the foglights. I would like to get the colors to match as close as possible. So looking through the wonderful internet they make H3 bulbs in 55 watt, 85 watt and 100 watt. I know the stockers are the 55W. I can get 55W. BUT, I can get the higher wattage bulbs for the same price. What I don't want, is to make the wiring harness into a pile of molten plastic and copper. Has anyone run the higher wattage bulbs? Good or bad? Did you notice a difference? I am going to try to order the same brand bulbs for all lights and hope this will cure my problems. I realize the wattage isn't going to affect the color at all - it'll just make 'em brighter and I want to piss as many people off as possible.

BW, do you remember who the manufacturer is of the bulbs that were in those lights? PIAA? (hope not cause those are the 'spensive ones)

Dont go with the higer wattage bulbs they blow in no time even upgrading the wires. I instaled 10g wire and a relay for each fog light and still in like two week blown bulbs. I have no leaks in my lights either. You can get the blue color bulbs that shine pure white they dont last as long as the regular bulbs but at 55w they should last a few months. Also what I've noticed is that after I did all that extra wiring and realys the bulbs look a lot brighter that having two bulbs on one relay. HTH
