Re: Lookin for a Syclone $8000 +/- Range

I can't find the ad but it goes on and off CL in Portland, OR. The guy has a Syclone, I think its a 91, lol. Partially torn apart on the inside. Looks like a decent project. If I remember it "ran" and then he took the dash and most of the interior out. I believe he was asking $5600. I bet you could get it for $6k shipped. I can do some more digging if you are interested.

Kewl, Thanx..

Im not lookin to have a project, b4 I can drive it..
But thats for the offer, of huntin (Guess Thru Emails)

Thanx,
Rob

I think I have what you are looking for, I am in Syracuse, NY area, paint is in good condition (repainted at some point), 127K miles (odometer stopped working), great DD, full tune up, fuel pump, brakes and calipers, custom exhaust, steering components, tires are great shape, stock wheels were painted grey, cadding was painted black when truck was painted, replaced brake lines, replaced window motors, transmission was rebuilt at some point (was painted).

I don't think I drove it 1000 miles since I bought it, but does drive nice after I did the said work.

Give me a call Jeff (315)569-6466 or email jeff@upstateimports.com

Whats the diff? Its branded nonetheless. Still can't carry full coverage on it. At least most insurance companies won't.

something that cheap you even gonna get full coverage on it?

Starts off cheap, then you redo the suspension, then the engine, the paint etc etc etc and you suddenly have $20k tossed into a 5k truck you couldn't get $2500 for after some smashes into and drives off. Just sayin'.

Not to mention these trucks are worth more totaled....sad.

R title (in pa atleast) can be driven.. Salvage has to go thru the Title Rebuilding BS..

I will be puttin my Classic Tag on the Syclone I buy..
Classic Tag = Most Look Stock.. No Cat, Full Coverage for Very Lil

R Title = Collector Car Tag LEGALLY mod the $hit outta it.
n still only need State Inspection.. No Cat Ever Again..

Classic/Collector/Ant = Never Need Cats Again u also can get
(Name Ur Value)$15,000 of Full Coverage for under $200 a year

I had Typhoon 2197 Insured for $8500 n only cost $167.92 a year
