sy/ty swap wanabee
Ive searched and seen various threads on this subject, but looking at a swap into a 4.3 silverado, 2006 year. Ive sourced the manifolds, crossover, turbo, stock intercooler, etc
Ive seen a few threads where people have said 1998 up 4.3 motors are fine for boost and do not require the sy/ty intake manifold and to stick with the stock intake, and have seen the opposite.. Ive also seen a few threads saying any sy/ty fuel injectors and rail will bolt up and will just need programming for my stock 4.3... others saying need to transplant wiring harness and ECU for it to work..
Anyone have solid answers or better info? Looking into this seriously... Thanks! :tup:
