its a throw away motor, its been a while since i worked on them at the dealer but when I did I came to the conclusion they were junk. IF I were looking for a DD I would sway towards a 3.8 v6 or even a 3.1(decent motor once the intake is sealed up) or even a s10 with a NA 4.3;)

but that's just me:myclone:

thats funny :rotf: if you are looking for a cheap daily driver s-10 search craigslist las vegas they are cheap and 100% rust free fly to vegas and drive home,

that truck has either been for sale for a long time or changed owners, since i saw it for sale about a year or 2 ago

I should go look at it and see what its all about. See if the undercarriage is all rusted out. I dont think that 2.5L motor is that bad. My friend had one and it was okay. I looked up the gas milage and it gets 28 mpg hwy. The 4.3 gas milage sucks! Im a sucker for the early s10 body. What would you guys do if I got the SGT bumper and put Sonoma GT badges all over it? :rotf:
