Lower Radiator Hose?

So I am prepping to install the Forge Wastegate on my 20G Waller turbo. The turbo has been in for about a year with few miles on it. Looking from the top down I noticed the wastegate rubbing into the lower radiator hose chaffing a groove into it :(. So, I took the intake tubing and upper fan shroud off to get a better look, and noticed a PAS part number on the lower hose. I am a little bummed to possibly being forced to remove this original part, but then again hoses are wear items. I know there are options to replace this from NAPA, and Sportmachines as well as any other part store pieces. I think I'll try and cover/wrap something over the chaff mark before installing the new wastegate before replacing the hose. Has anyone else had this clearance problem? Could it be a sign of FUBAR engine mounts? I haven't noticed any signs of them being bad as I know they tend to do on these trucks. Not gonna drive it until I get this all figured out and mended. Definitely don't need to blow a hose due to something preventable.

Any input helpful. THANKS!

Could be a bad passenger side motor mount. Mine came out in 3 pieces, so it's possible.

Re: Lower Radiator Hose?

Well I was able to squeeze a flashlight in between the fan, radiator, etc... to get the best look possible of the passenger side engine mount without pulling the tire and jacking the truck up. I now have solid mounts on order. At just over 90k on the odo I am not really surprised. While I have things out I may do pull the stock balancer and put a Fluidamper on too. Yeah off this topic, but...Not really looking forward to changing the engine mounts, based on reports, threads here, but it has to be done.
