Maximum snow depth for good Sy donuts?

Just wondering what the best snow depth for donuts is. I'm afraid we got too much last night and it'll just bog down

I was so tempted to go out last night when it first started falling. Just an inch or two of light powder... But tomorrow we'll have a camera, if we can find a good spot...

I have driven the Ty in about 10 inches of snow. Fastest snow plow ever :)

I was tempted to bust out the video camera the other night - but the wife didn't want to stand in the cold.

I would say 2-3" - 6" will get a lot more snow kicking around. I doubt it will bog down too much.

I've had my sy in some pretty harsh stuff. I took it up this huge hill here in town that people in four wheel drives were having trouble going up. The only doughnuts I've cut was in about an inch. And it had a lot of ice under it.

I'd say about 4". Just enough so you can get the traction to get a good momentum up before ya start turnin the wheel.

I've had really bad luck in the snow with the phoon...last year I was being stupid and a drift got a little out of hand. I slammed into a curb with my passenger side and when I got to Walmart I checked the damage: there was a nice indenting on the face of the rim...oh well, I could live with that. So the next day when it's actually light outside I see that I pretty much tacoed both my passenger rims :( . Snow:1 ; Typhoon:0
We had a freak snowstorm in May last year and I was second in line at a light and I look in my rearview and see a big ford coming up on my ass in a hurry. I look up a little later and all I can see is blue oval, I romp on it and jump into the oncoming lane (no traffic, because it's Montana) and the jeep that was in front of me got destroyed. Snow:1 ; Typhoon:1 So I guess that one wasn't too bad, well, for me at least. But I'll be out having some fun when my truck finally gets here...hopefully in a week or so.
