This is a low mile stock turbo that has been modified to accept a 52mm compressor wheel. The exhaust housing and wheel are stock. This combination will provide a 20-25 HP increase while still allowing fast spooling with the stock torque converter. Turbo was used for less than 10K miles since being modified, truck ran great when turbo was removed, it has normal side play with no signs of wear or damage. Asking $450 plus shipping from 18929. Would this require a tune or can the stock program compensate for the additional air?

IMO you wouldn't want to use the stock chip. However you could use one of the shelf 3 bar chips such as the ultimate or turbo tweaks should be fine running this turbo.

I agree, one of the tuner chips would be preferred, although we did run this turbo on a stock truck with stock chip and with some added fuel pressure it ran well with no knock issues.

Would this work with the Pitbull? I do have an aftermarket fp reg. just not installed yet.

Any discount w/o the w/g actuator & boost solenoid? Def. going to go this route.
