Well a stock nitrided crank can take that HP, how long is another question. ViciousV6 made 605 Hp @ 18lbs of boost anf lasted for 1 1/2 yrs before developing a crack in the crank. Should i bought a $3,000 crank yea but i had fun and still had money to build the motor over with another 600 crank.
I have a friend who broke 2 billet cranks on the dyno, so if you ask me --- i would rather waste 600 bucks then 3,000 and blow it up.
Truthfully SBC with Twin Turbos would be my choice!!! F#CK Original V6 Trucks.

Before worrying about the crank, might wanna think about tranny --- 700R4 will not take the abuse of a 74mm ---
I was manually shifting my truck and once i installed the 74 non ball bearing turbo --- the bands starting slipping and it was built for 700-800hp from my tranny guy and it was at its limits.
