This is going to be an on going thread which starts now and will probably end somewhere in late May or early June.

There will be many different projects posted in here, so keep your eyes peeled. Some of the projects will be simple to figure out, some will not. I will be dropping hints (pictures) here and there. Please do not ask what I have in store for #180, you will just have to find out at Nationals or shortly there after when I return home.

Just to get things rolling, here are some parts which arrived from California today :)

Enjoy, hope to see everyone at Nats.

cool morgan. I always wanted those. What are they from?
2nd Gen S-Series

They are actually the rear handles out of a 4 door blazer (no keyholes), which is why I ended up getting them shipped all the way from Cali. After searching off and on since September and having no luck at the local yards, I finally found someone who was willing to not just sell the handles, but cut out the actual sheetmetal from a wreck and ship them.

I probably wont even start working on this project till late March. Im currently working about 5 other new modifications for the truck, plus tracking down parts, so the body modifications will have to wait for warmer weather.

I hope I can get it all done before Nats, it should be quite interesting when finished.

see i am dumb. I want to put a scoop by the turbo. I think it would look real nice with some wire mesh in it too.

Here is another project, not quite as mysterious as the others after my long threads in the Engine Tech section, ITS AN ENGINE!

Number 2 cylinder was the one damaged in "the duck" by mr. hack the mechanic, however after checkin the depth of the scratch, a quick hone then another check, it appears that a .030 overbore will clean it up just fine.

well, at this point it doesnt look like the engine is going to be done before Nats and if by some chance it is I doubt it will be broken in, so I think im just gonna focus on all the other stuff and the engine work will happen after Nats. :(

slacker!

just don't take 16yrs like it took me, to still not be completely done. ha.
nah, Im not as slow as you :)

Im just figuring that its March now and by the time I get all the parts and machine work done and the engine actually built, the EARLIEST its gonna be done in is May, plus the fact that I need time to paint the firewall and such while I have it out, im not gonna have enough time to break it in properly before Nats, which means no racing so there is no point in rushing anyway.

I might as well wait and do it right and try to have it done before the Northeast Extravaganza :)

Depending on how things go, I might wait on paint too and just show up with primer spots all over my truck
