FINALLY :eek:

i got to race my first mustang, i pulled up in a gas station and some guy parked with a mustang was pointing. so i went over there and got to talkin, he was a cool guy and claimed he had heads,cams,gears,intake,headers,exhaust and a shift light :-?
then we got to talkin about racing and decided to find a light on wadsworth, well we both turn off and the light goes yellow i tell my friend next to me to hold on and tell me when it goes yellow. sucked the vacum out, light went yellow built about 3lbs of boost....and we were off i pulled 3 1/2 carlengths and held till we hit trafic. the guy flys buy and yells DAMN!! thats fast! :lol:


it was long awaited. :fadein:

My first mustang kill was hilarious cause it was a brand new GT, and the driver followed me around for a while-honking his horn and raising hell, I guess he was pissed. Technically it wasnt a race cause he tried to cut me off and show off, but I didnt let that happen :evilbat: Still a kill though!

Nice one dude!!! Was it a 5-No? Seems everyone and their dog has one here in Farmington.

Dude, the neighbors on both sides of my house have 5-Nos. Its hell!!! They are both f-ing retarded and always ask me why I lowered and added a body kit to my "Jimmy". No matter how many times I tell them what it is, it never seems to "click" with them. Geeze, make me irate just thinking about it. :evilbat:

Mustangs aren't too bad, heack they're low enough I can use one to stand on to wash my Typhoon.... ::baddevil::

I remember my first race against a 5.slow, it was at Pomona raceway, my very first time running my Typhoon, stock chip, everything....

We line up, I'm building boost, the light turns green, he leaves....I wait and build more boost, his friends are in the stands laughing, cause he's leaving this "Jimmy" at the starting line...hahaha..

I leave hard, oooh, probably 2.0 60' time, and proceed to catch him at half track, and pass him, and beat him, he ran a 15.4 and I ran a 14.3 or something like that.....

After I beat him his friends were still laughing, now they were laughing at him for being beat by a V-6.....

The best part was listening to the announcer, "Looks like the Typhoon is catching up to the 5.0, uh-oh, looks like the Mustang just got spanked by 'momma in her grocery-getter'"

Classic, I got it on Video too, but too bad the guy running the camera didn't know how to ZOOM IN....but at least the audion was good.

ahh my first pony kill was an indiot in a ghia mustang with a v6 and 1 ton of body kit and f80 wing on it.......i didnt even take his $100 cause i felt sorry for him.....ahh memories...

not all us pony owners are stupid... just all those punk beotches out there driving show room stock stangs thinking there flying a jet or something.. they have proven them selves ffine at the track I think . low bang for the buck with an awsome aftermarket.

Its mostly the young punks that give the 5 slows the name they have. There is a ton of aftermarket for them and the can go pretty fast when stuff is done to them. Oh and watch out for those new mustang cobra's. supercharged 390+hp like there is nothin too it, a couple of bolt ons and they are flyin. I got killed by one with a pully, catback, and intake. I ran a 13.3@102 he ran a 11.90@118.

Ever seen what happens when you give a Mustang 5.0 too much boost or nitrous for too long? They crack longways! I swear, I was looking at pics of about 3 or 4 blocks on turbomustangs.com of Mustangs that ran about 20 PSI, they were just flat out gone. What's the deal with the 4.6es they've got now anyways?

I got a nice look at an 03' Cobra with 485 rwhp last night, trap's in 120's. He want's to eat up my GMC Typhoon. :D

Sound slike it just might be able to do it, unless you have a few big mods.

My favorite stang kill was a 94 GT with larger than normal exhaust.
I could hear it whine during the decel to the red light, but I figured it was geared.
Of course he was S/C and when it green he made smoke and I put a couple cars on him real quick.
Couple nights later I ran into the guy who was riding passenger with him and he said the driver didn't even want a rematch: that was the worst he ever lost to a GM. :eek:

I've got two sy's now, but I have had 3 different mustangs. Most of the bad vibes towards mustangs now a days is because of all the wanna be racers. The 5.0 were realativly cheap cars and easy to work on and make fast. My first one had a plain 302 with large lunati cam, 351 heads worked and 373 gears. On radial (firestone firehawks) in the 1/8 it went 8.10. Slicks took it to 7.80. This thing would launch hard! I then put a 460 big block in it. 4 foot wheelies are fun!!!! I am now fascinated with the turbo power and daily drivability, so I am building the pi** out of a sy :lol:
