Re: Nats Virgins...check in
Word was coming back about a story of Sean and Andrew from Cali showing up at the BBQ a bit later than expected. The best part of the story was they didn't realize there were cops chasing them.
:rotf: Yeah, that was a great memory. At least the cop was cool - we (allegedly) bribed him with an extra t-shirt and the boys walked away unscathed.
Every Nats there has been a moment that stood out - jumping a moped over registration tables, pulling all of the trucks into a hangar to avoid a tornado, setting fire to the parking lot, Jesus, Surstomming, The Sermon, The Elevator Crew, etc... These are moments that cannot be appreciated unless you're there - stories don't do it justice, pics don't do it justice, video doesn't do it justice. You have to be there, and if you're not there you'll be kicking yourself when you hear about it. As I've always said - you go for the trucks, you go back for the people. It's not a "look at the trucks and then go to bed" atmosphere - most people there share stories and enjoy hearing from everyone. It's very friendly, very casual, very laid back, but Nats is what YOU make it.
Nats. Go. Now.
