there was a bulltin for replacing the ebcm for excesive stoping disance under abs, but GM called off the recall for awd modles a couple of months ago the PI is still open to the S/T non awd untill dec 1 2002. the bulltin was for only if th owner complained about it
well how did the truck get to you?
i've seen vehicles that have been towed get abs light afterwards. possibly damage abs wire while chaining up vehicle.
what if you try flushing the fluid to see if it helps?
did the dealer change the brake pads?
did the light come on after the service? if yes, dealer should fix.
