instead of typing it all out again ill just paste what i said over IM to someone:
DoomDead2: truck started acting up again, it died while driving down the freeway, it started itself back up again. then a min later it died totally... i coasted to a stop (since i can't start it in N) put it in park, reset the computer, went to start it, no go... hooked my FPG back up, got plenty of pressure. pulled out the ult chip, truck started right up...
DoomDead2: took it back hom to get the blazer
DoomDead2: on the way home
DoomDead2: it died two more times
DoomDead2: but it was easy to restart
DoomDead2: so its not hte chip
DoomDead2: not fp
DoomDead2: not coil
DoomDead2: only thing i can think of... but i really doubt this, is when i was plugging the fpg back in, i removed the shrader vavle and i could have sworn i thought it blew out a little air while it was letting off pressure. So ya air in the fuel line would do it... but where did the air come from...
DoomDead2: at least all of these times this happened i wasn't under boost
DoomDead2: so im not worried about hurting the truck too much
DoomDead2: but whats odd
DoomDead2: is if iwas really having air in my fuel line
DoomDead2: why would the truck run so good prior
DoomDead2: at any rate i also noticed that my fpg wasn't jerking all over the place
now. what i meant about the fpg jerking around, was that after a few months running this new guage, it started clicking really bad and jerking all over the place... we figured i needed an isolator, but if there was a bubble up there i guess that would do it...
so i guess my question is this.
if the truck dying is due to no fuel, how do i get the air bubble out AND be able to get the FPG plugged back in...
im so confused as to why this happens when im not running it hard, yet ive ran it hard a few times this week and never had a problem.
