New buyer questions

I checked the VIN... last odometer reading on 03/29/2002, was 119,759 miles. It was advertised as having 70,000 miles. So, definatly some tampering going on here. Staying away from this truck!

sounds like the dash was replaced if you ask me, maybe a possible theft at one time?

Id report him, Carfax says 119K, hes advertising it as 70K...... :roll:

did he say what the mileage is when he got it, how long had he owned it?

Car fax does make mistakes, but this doesn't sound right. Too much money for a questionable truck. In addition to the wrong color, the decal is in the wrong posiiton on the tail gate and its missing the 'GMC Truck' decal.

Wow good eyes! Didn't notice the decals were on wrong haha!
Well from checking the history... it had 11x,xxx miles on it when he purchased it in March of 2002. So, he must of been the one that lowered the odometer!

i would call up and say it to him, then either offer him $8000 for it or just laugh and hang up depending on his recation. Oh, i'd probably put a few 4 letter words in there, or 6 letter words for you Canadians :lol:

Hahahahah! I don't know many 6-lettered cuss words! :p

OK, so I found a nice Syclone in New Jersey, which isn't too far away. Butttttt... importing into Canada seems like a HUGE pain in the butt. Anyone do it recently with a Syclone and know the process? Maybe a dealer here can import it up easier for me and I buy it from them??

Suggestions?

Oh if anyone is in the New Jersey area and wouldn't mind checking out the truck for me that'd be awesome!!! :)
