It appears from what I can tell that a new Evenfire forged crank takes 5-6 mos to make and costs ~ $2000-2500. Due to my stupidity, I didn't know that the new forged crank that I had for the last 3-4 months was Oddfire.
I just can't wait that long, so I guess I'll buy a GM crank from Dal for ~$500., and have it Cryo treated and maybe coated to make it as strong as I can. Since it will be well contained by the 4 bolt Bowtie block, do U guys think that is good enuf ?
Anybody know of other suppliers that might have a better cast crank than GM, or a better delivery on a forged one ? I'm afraid to use my old crank, because I threw a rod. Someone mentioned Crower, so I will try to check their website.
