I think they are interchangable.Might try to use needle nose pliers ,open them up and try inserting into lock , push in and turn slowly as not to strip inside of lock. Good luck enjoy the truck. My stockers are long gone. Might try your local stealer ship (dealer ship).

SyTyless......for now!
Re: New guy with Syclone 2491

Might have to drill em out and use a screw extractor. I had to do it on our old Sy, and it was a PITA- hardened steel takes a while to drill. I replaced them with stainless allen-head screws to make life easier.

Truckless. For now.
Re: New guy with Syclone 2491

Vette key number is 13044

That may or may not work. There were a few different patterns, so you have to make sure you get a key that matches. Also, I have heard that dealers are starting to list them as "discontinued" so you may have trouble finding a key.

I think I have seen people take them out and use a hex headed cap screw in place of them

but you still have to get them out

You are going to have to get creative.Might try a small tack weld with a bolt on it. Drilling might be the only option. Any local old school tire shops near by, those old guys are crafty and have dealt with everything from lost keys to stipped lugs.

Yeah take it to a tire dealer, we have come up with all kinds of ways to get locks off over the years, also, don't worry about the tire being the wrong direction, won't cause it to blow or anything, may just be a little bit noisy, but they really don't care which way they are rolling. Just get those locks out incase you get a flat or something.
