No crank when tuning the key

I have a 92 Ty with a lsx swap. Try to crank it over just to hope to see some life and nothing. Starter is new and tested, battery has been tested and charged, new ignition starter switch and still no crank. Just looking for idea to try, or maybe someone with the same problem. Searching has come up with nothing.

First test if the starter solenoid is getting 12V

the starter has 12 at it, the ground is good if you jump the starter it works. I don't have 12 at the starter solenoid wire when i turn the key to start it. Im trying to find the purple wire form the fire wall back to the starter switch. I know it use to crank over the old 4.3L, also tried in park and neutral, and with the neutral safety switch unpluged.

yes is it the yellow wire. I the starter switch wasn't tight so it would pull to the start position. Fixed it and now it cranks. now on to the next problem of blowing ecm1 one fuse. Thanks agian for the help.

It's yellow from the ign switch to the neutral safety switch. THEN it's purple from the neut switch to the starter.

It's C100, terminal H1. From the engine-side of the firewall, far left (inboard) column, bottom row.

Another LSx swap question. Almost time to change the name of the Forum from syty to LSx redeux.

Dave,
Maybe this is a good sign, more people using search rather than bothering you with already asked questions. Since there have been less than 20 or so LSX swaps, there will be more unanswered questions. And since this really didn't have all that much to do with the motor type what does it matter?

For future posts, LSx related topics should be started in the SyTy conversion forum.
