NorCal and SoCal Dec mini-meets

I'm just gonna throw this out there...I'm going to be in NorCal AND SoCal in late December and would love to see some trucks (plus, you know, get away from in-laws ;) ). Since it's around Christmas, I don't expect any big meets to be going on or organized.

To make things easy, I'll tell you where I'm gonna be and if "locals" to those areas wanna get together for a quick meet one night, I'll leave it up to you. The exact dates are unknown, but I'll be in the state 12/19-30

NorCal: Based in Novato, Marin County. Could cruise down to San Rafael or up to Petaluma or Santa Rosa. Probably be in the east bay for a few hours at some point.

SoCal: Based in Woodland Hills, so: west valley, Calabasas, Agoura, Chatsworth, etc. get together would be cool.

Once I have my itinerary, I'll put them out here. We are flying into NorCal and somewhere in the middle of the trip, we're heading to L.A. area for a few days, then back up to Marin.

If your talking between Christmas and New Years I'll be around. Might throw something together. Middle of Dec I'm out of town. Truck might be on jacks by then though.

You know funny thing is now that my Syclone is FINALLY up and running we haven't had a Socalsyty meet at all!! Jeez. Well anyhow chatsworth is close to me, Im in Ventura. Mikes shop (RPM) is in chatsworth also. You might want to check that place out before leaving californina. Thier is a guy in moorpark with a sy, I'll let him know also.

Yeah, I know about RPM...that's why I threw Chatsworth in there. :lol: I used to live in West Hills, so that's old stomping ground.

Maybe a meet at the shop?? I'll get back to you when I know exactly when we'll be in L.A.

'Course, I'm coming all this way so I'll need a ride in your truck Dean. :tup: (shotgun of course)

I dunno Dean... I think that if we were to plan a Socal meet, you're truck might break again. I think i've known you for close to three years now and I have never seen your truck before. ;) Lol... but all that can soon change.

Heck, Steve... I'll drive up to the valley to see ya- and if there's a meet, even better! It's been a few years. I'm sure that Scott, Paul, and Robert would be down to cruise up too! We are totally due for a meet down here- it's not even funny.

Sounds good. I'll have my schedule soon and we can start working on dates.

Edit: Okay looks like DECEMBER 22nd or 23rd in S. California will work. I'm thinking somewhere in the Woodland Hills, Calabasas, or (last choice) Agoura Hills area. I also think later in the afternoon might work better...like 2:00 pm or later. Which day works best for y'all??

Tentative date for N. Cal if any interest: Dec. 29

Any of those days would be ok. I just have to work Thur. & Fri. this week, so those days would have to be after 5 pm.

You know every last Sunday of the month thier is a car get together in the woodland hills area right off the 101 at Mullhuland off ramp. The thing is the cars that meet up are alot of exotic cars, ferraris, Lambos, ect ect, plus some older super clean muscle, and some odd stuff you don't see every day. I saw the 60's batmobile thier. I've been taking my Syclone and getting a favarable response. Another thing is they start early in the morning, like 7am and goes till 1pm or 3 sometimes. Gotta come early to get a spot to park. If you guys are interested maybe this would be a cool thing to see and a nice get together?
Of course this sunday maybe rained out, well just have to see.

I dont know what valley view is. But it is at the shopping center on Mulhuland and the 101 freeway, can't miss it. I tried to put a google map/satelite link but had not luck. This might work.

Know the area well...used to live off Valley Circle in West Hills. Good luck at the meets...I'll get out there again some day.

There's also a cruise (not sure when) at the Woodlake Lanes parking lot at the Woodlake exit (traveling west) or Shoup exit (travelling east or south). Very close to the Valley Circle/Mul. exit.
