O2 help??

My ecm has been throwing:

Code 13 Oxygen (O2) Sensor Circuit (Open Circuit)

Code 44 Oxygen (O2 Sensor Circuit (Lean Exhaust Indicated)

I changed the O2 sensor and reset the ECM, and it's still throwing it. Any help??


It is running right at zero vaccum under driving conditions at idle it's around 20, turbo spools fine... It stumbles when I have it in drive, but when I keep in in 1st or 2nd it does fine.

When you say "under normal driving conditions", do you mean cruising at a certain MPH? If you are running right at 0 vac/boost under a cruise type condition I would say you may have some type of vac leak. Whether it be vac lines or intake gasket or whatever. That could also cause your code 44.
Depending on build and truck under cruise conditions you should be anywhere between 14-9 or so of vaccuum. That's saying your not going up or down a hill of course.

Chris,

I'm guessing the cracked exhaust manifold may be skewing your O2 readings? You'll end up with more fresh air in the exhaust and leaner readings.

I am not going to worry about it too much until the new manifold gets here, I should have it on by next weekend, not that it makes that much of a differance it rarely gets driven....
