I did a search and dident find what i was looking for.My old lines are leaking so while i have my motor out. figured i would convert them to braided . so from what i can see is that #-8 is the hose you use ?correct me if i am wrong . How much hose should i order 15 feet or 20. I would like to go from the block to the filter to the cooler.

you can use 6an. Get 6an to 3/8" npt adapters and tap the holes for 3/8"npt. Also get the 6an hose ends...you're gonna need straights and 90*. I think J. Waller makes some sorta kit or maybe thats fuel lines...i can't remember.

i know its not cheap. is any thing on these trucks? I have alot of an fittings around from some old customers cars . I know how to do it i just needed to conferm the size of the hose. and find out how much i should order ? Did you run the line where the stock one went or did you run it some other way ?
I dident check yet but is there any special fittings for the radiator cooler?
thanks

I ran it down below the brake booster so that you get it far away from the exhaust as possible. use -8 and drill out the stock adaptors with a 9/16 bit then tap them. the rad has special fitting but I never messed with it.
I used 2 straight fittings on the filter assm. and 2 45deg fittings down on the block. get about 10 ft of hose.

so you are saying all i need is 10 feet ? is that just the block to the filter? or dose it include the cooler too?
