Oil pressure sender

Where is it located? I can't find the damn thing. My gauge quit on me after going crazy for a few weeks and I need to replace it. Yes - I'm sure I didn't lose all oil pressure. Also, do you know which thread it is? The auto parts store listed two different threads - 1/4" and a smaller size. Hopefully it's easy to get at, but knowing our trucks, I doubt it.

it's pretty much right behind the distributor. It is kinda a PIA to get to, but possible. I just went ahead and put in a mechanical gauge and got rid of the stock one. I don't trust any of the stock gauges except the speedO and tach. I'm not 100% sure but I think it's a 1/4" thread.

i remember it being 1/8 npt.
