My old orifice tube was installed with the "short" end up- it looks like it
should go in the other way. Anyone know which end is up??
Thanks.

I have no idea what in the hell you are talking about.

Up is the opposite of down, both seem to be dependent on gravity.

there is a end that has a flat tab looking thing on it that is the top, it goes towards the hood if you cant get the old one out the evap core is like 50.00, I would reccomend this anyways if you are doing the conversion, because odds are you will be amazed at the amount of shit built up on it in the heater box, and its noit that bad to pull just make sure the motor is cold ken

The orifice tube installs vertically. There's an o-ring about 3/4" from one end. Which end goes in first, the long end or the short end. The short end has the "tab", so I assume from Ken's reply this goes "up"...Thanks; Cornelll
