Overboosting with dump open.

I know that i am overboosting when the dump is open because of less back pressure and the fact that the pte setup uses the tiny internal gate. What i want to know is does anyone know when the overboosting stops? I'm thinking mid 20's? Is there anyway to correct this?

I adjusted the gate to 15psi with dump closed for the street. When I take off the dump it will hit 20psi at WOT. Im not sure if it will spike from 20psi through out WOT. I have not had race gas in it to test. I'll be running it at the track with race gas to test 20psi with it open. Then close to run 15psi on the street.

It will take alot of WOT testing to dial in the boost with that gate and alot of adjustments. Test your rod adjustments with the dump closed and open to notice any changes. The pte gate has a 15# base spring. being either rich or lean with the pte gate can effect boost control with it.

Im not using any boost contoller either. The day I upgrade to Mike's DP and minigate setup w/ a controller will be a good day .
