Painting hood & some cladding

I need to have the following painted:

1.) new steel hood for SyTy
2.) three pieces of cladding that have been painted before, but need to be done again:
- left rear wheel arch piece
- left rear bumber corner piece
- rear bumper piece

I'm not looking for a Maaco job, or a super high-end job. Just something in the middle that looks decent on the truck and still looks good upon closer inspection.

So,for anyone who has had pieces prepped/painted, what did you pay? Or, for anyone who has worked in a paint shop, what is a fair cost to have all this done by a shop?

Thanks

You should be able to get a really good paint job done on these items for around $500--including installing and fitting the new hood. Maybe add about $75 if you want the cladding and bumper cover removed and painted off the truck, which I would recommend to avoid overspray and or tape lines. I run a body shop in NC and I'm basing these prices on $38/hr body and paint labor and $24/hr materials--don't know what rates are like in TX. Maybe this will give you some kind of idea.

Thanks Brack.

I had a range of $400-$600 floating in my head, but I wanted to make sure I was on the right track for the cost of the work.

Removal and installation of the cladding pieces and hood would be done by me, so that will save a few bucks.
