Phx area (loop 101) August 30th around 5:45 PM. 2!

My dryer went out, so i had to drive clear across the valley of thermal hatred to get a new heater coil. On the way back i decided to bypass trafic and took Olive all the way from metrocenter to the 101 and as we pass the light my stepdad says "Check it out, a typhoon at the light".

I glance back and sure enough, black/black with flames.

We get on the freeway and continue home and about a mile down the road my girlfriend yells "Holey shit another ty!"

Sure enough, white/grey. Clean lookin truck. Around loop 101 and Northern. Anyone on here?


Heh, saw 3 in total that day if ya cound me goin home and stairing at mine heh.

Damn, that's a rare occurrence. I haven't seen a Sy or Ty on the road for over a year (not including mine). Needless to say, if I spot one, they'll eventually need a restraining order...

I never seen one in the valley, unless I went to see one I found for sale.

I've seen quite a few over the years, but never a Ty with flames.

I saw a white one with red-ish purple-ish flames in Glendale not too long ago. Same one that was for sale about a year ago.

Yeah it kinda shocked the hell outa me.
The first one my step father spoted and i was all stoked. And then, not 2 streets down the freeway BAM, what appeared to be an immaculate white/grey.

I've been bummed about my Ty being down due to a simple gasket and my moving atm, and seeing those 2 put me in a much better mood. Even though i still wanna drive it heh.

dunno, i talked to you about this one before. It is pretty clean looking from 50' away, although dirty. I love the color. its on about 34th st on camelback. bunch of cars there they all look like they move. the rims are not stock and seem to be 17" or bigger

You spotted my Truck and I, Black/ Black with real flames. I was on my way to tune up the truck. I still have some hesitation going on. It is always something with these trucks. One night at the pavillions we had a pretty good showing. I would like to get all the AZ crew together when it is a little cooler. :tup:

The biggest ive seen out at the pavs is 5 of us the weekend i brought my truck home from cali.

Soon as i get the top end thrown back together i intend to make another trip to the other side of earth.
185th ave and elliot to the pavs is a hell of a drive.

Heres the crappy part. In a week ill be moving to Wenden Arizona.
The only way i can explane how far it is out, Take I-10 west twords LA, Cross the freeway median at milepost 63 and drive down a dirt road 3 miles.

Gona be out there a few months and save some cash to put into the TY.

38 dollars a month rent, utilities included heh.
Roomy works for el paso natural gas and i wanna save some cash and get my ass into school.

At least bein out there with nothing to do the Ty will get some much needed love. Too bad i cant drive it when im out there, unless i trailor it to the freeway hahaha. Damn loose gravel road.
