No Connection VIA ALDL 1 Hour, 48 Minutes ago Karma: 0
I cannot get a connection to the ECU via the ALDL port under the Dash. The ALDL port worked before the $59 ECU with the mosfets for LOW-Z Injectors. Our plan for diagnostic is to install a factory ecu and see if we get a connection, then I am going to install the factory chip in the ecu with the new mosfets and see if we get a connection. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions??? They would be greatly appreciated

put a stock chip in, see if you connect with datamaster...if you do, put in code59 chip if you can't connect you have a bad upload/code59 chip

I hope that's all it is. If so can you please walk my brother and I through the chip burning process over the phone tomorrow.

Honestly I suck enough I probably couldn't walk you through burning a chip as I rarely do it anymore.

I suspect you have not taken into account the chip is double in size and start/end needs to be adjusted.
