Ok, its still in the planning stages, but its gonna be an s-series meet, in the Chesapeak, VA area, possible the weekend of May 11th-12th. Thats all i know, and I will probably head down with my Ty if all goes well. Thats all I know for now, I just figured I would see if there was any interest.

I was just down in Va. for the my Easter break (Tues-Fri). Maybe you saw or heard bout my Sy, 92Typhn. I have a relative that lives in the Carleton Falls development off of 60 West in Newport News. I cruised Jefferson Blvd. mainly during my stay. Chilled at Hooters on Wed. night, etc.. Va. meet sounds good to me in May. Also, I got into a short race with a new Lightning on Rt.64 heading into Va. beach. I take a glance to my left and this dude paces me at bout 60mph. We drive next to each other for roughly 2 min. Then, the road ahead clears, so I throw down the peddle some. He gets the hint.. attempts to wipe my truck all other the road. But, I don't think he realized what he was up against. I throw up the boost and GONE. Had him fender to fender to bout 80mph. Should have seen the look on his face!! Absolute Kodak moment. We'll meet up, 92Typhn, since I'll be staying in Newport News for my next visit.

Do you get the Ty out much? Ive never seen one around here. Only Sy's I know of is mine and the guy at Ross Auto down by Langley.

I get out in my Ty all the time. Just got two weeks ago and I drive everywhere I go. I still have the temp tags on it so you cant miss me. My real ones will say 92TYPHN on mountain to sea plate. I work down at the Shipyard so if you cruise by 33rd look in the parking lots my baby will probably be there.

VA Meet Update

The meeting location is going to be the Lowe's Home Imporvement
parking lot on Battlefield Bvd. in Chesapeake, VA.
The exact address is 1308 Battlefield Blvd N .
After everyone gets there, we were planning on going and
grabbing a bite to eat at a really good (not to mention pretty inexpensive)
mexican joint down the road (for those of you in the area, it's called El Loro's).
If anybody wants to stay later than that, there is a bowling alley down
Battlefield with pool tables, and we can go there to either shoot pool or bowl.

Hopefully I will have my truck back by then.

ok, well I should hopefully have my truck back next week, so if all goes well and nothing else bad happens, Im going to attempt to make it down there with the Ty. If not, I might roll up in the Celica or meet someone and ride with them.

ok, well I dont think im gonna get down there. I am now supposed to get my truck back on Wed, and i dont think im gonna have enough time to check it all out before going on a road trip, especially since I am moving out of school this week. I think i'm gonna have to wait till summer to roll down there.

My Typhoon should be out of the shop by friday so I will show up. If i dont have my Ty.I will stop by in the Grand Prix.

Bout 90% sure I'll be rollin down to Va. next weekend. Bringin the Sy! And, stayin in Newport News. If you Va. guys still meet, then send me an e-mail with all the info.

ok, well im definately out for this weekend, however if anyone does plan to go let me know before friday and I will find out what time they are gonna meet and an e-mail addy for someone who's settin it up.

I believe I have contacted most of you VIA e-mail, but if i missed you here's the details:

Hello all. I meant to get this e-mail out sooner, I
apologize. And if you've gotten this e-mail more than
once, I apologize again :)

We are planning to meet in the Lowes parking lot at
4p.m. on Saturday, May 11. It is the Lowes on
Battlefield Blvd. in Chesapeake, VA. To get there from
I-64 it is exit 290-B (S/Battlefield Blvd exit). When
you get off that exit, Lowes is about a 1/2mi on the
right. Can't miss it.

We can hangout, b.s. for awhile there and what not and
then we'll probably head somewhere to eat. Golden
Corral, Sonic, something close. It's whatever.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE COMING. So far, only 8
people have confirmed they will be there.

Sorry to all for not showing. The neighbor felt my car was in her way and she tried to move. Now I have two cars messed up. The grand prix and the Typhoon. Although I will get my typhoon back by friday I think. Hope to see you all later Dave
