It was a trade out. I took $4500 off the price of his garage makeover. He says as soon as it warms up he will get on it. :rant::rant:

Here you go. PLEASE, no one try to kill me. I am a multi brand family - Pontiac GTP, Chevy Suburban 4X4 and my baby the Mustang. My father bought the Ty from me a few years ago, because he knew I did not want it to go away. I needed a large suv to haul my family of 6, and bought the Suburban. We have just started to get the Ty ready for the road again. I just bought a set of 1990 ZR1 wheels for her, because the tires are shot. One stock wheels is out of round, and my father is having them all restored - then put up on a shelf. We are in the middle of installing a new fuel tank, pick up assembly, fuel level sending unit and a 255 lph pump. My 2 boys love the Ty, and give it a hung everytime they are at the storage unit. All I hear is they want it back. The Ty is turning into a family project, we both buy parts for it. The story on the Mustang - It is a rebody SSC. It was built from salvage parts from the original car- SSC 89-184. The SSC has always been my favorite Mustang. I bought it for less than the cost of the SSC replacement parts. All interior, exterior, suspension and drivetrain is there. It has 479RWHP from 12lbs. of boost, and I do not feel bad making it the way I want it. Here is the pic, but please spare my life for this !

Just kidding. Looks really nice. It's getting harder to find late 80's- early 90's Mustangs that aren't beat to crap or been turned into strip only cars.:tup:

That is why I had to jump on this car. The doors close nice and tight, and it does not have the waves in the sheet metal from hard racing. It is not a rare car, but the condition is rare these days. Before anyone asks - YES, the Ty is quicker off the line. I do not see one as being better than the other, because they are both great at what they do.

Awesome Fox body! I love seeing clean ones and the older specialty versions like the SSC are just sick. :tup:

I have never seen a Opel Manta, but it looks awesome. It reminds me alot of the Chevy Monza. What is the performance of these ?

according to Wikipedia, the styling was based on the Monza. google it.

lol at the manta..
we got a serie over here called new kids on the block, it's a bit like trailerpark, but 10x harder , they drive a green manta. with mullets in the back :D
