Took it out for a little bit today. Must have been one trip too many out of the basement... rolled another mile over.

Motor looks nice:tup:The truck is outside under a cover but I finished drilling the heads and put the longblock together.

What oil pan is that, and cost? Dont need it, but always gotta plan for the future

i have the same pan on my build. mine came from a awd astro van. the newer ibs motor have that pan. its a different bolt pattern than the stamped steel you guys use.

Fel Pro 1203s, I used those and the material is nice and dense
Yeah mine came off an 05 Astro, same part number as the 4x4 s10 pan

Finally got my 1" trunion type, adjustable lowering blocks on the rear, and a 4 wheel alignment. They also said the lower ball joints had a just a bit of play in them, so replaced those too.
Man, does it drive a lot nicer! Now I need to readjust the BattleBars. It had never been properly aligned since the frame-off... wow, did I get raped on the cost to do all of it!

A few minutes ago...
