Randy,
That was what I was kinda thinking. I'm going to drive it some more and do some data logging just to see what is up. If the miss or sputter comes back as the fuel level drops I
would guess the line from the filter to the first pump has a split or something in it.
if you have a aftermarket ignition system like a 6al ? do you have the proper positive and ground feed sources directly to the battery ? If not i believe this is your isssue . Dan C . a long time owner and member had this same issue for a long time and it was because his msd 6al box wasn't powered right .
My truck has Bigstuff 3. I looked last night at the current tune and what I found was 25 for the IAC count. The truck goes closed loop after 100 degree coolant temp and 1200 RPMs.
I am no tuner!! let's be clear about that. LOL I just look around at the info.
TPS checks out. Went for a twenty minute(18 mile) drive last night
And the truck ran flawlessly. Shut it down and had dinner and talked with
Friends for a while(all about two hours) jumped in to drive home and
The stumble miss is back!!!! Geeze!! Can't figure this out. I was thinking
Fuel pump or line now I am so confused. Now I guess a loose wire?
I don't friggen know!!
Someone mentioned gas cap maybe bad so before I went out yesterday to grab some Mothers Day items for the wife I figured I would just for giggles remove the gas cap and then put it back on. I will need to drive it next time without cracking the cap to see if I get a different result but once again the truck ran mint. Just like it did after the fuel fill. Could it be
that I am getting some kind of vapor lock that causes a stumble? I will keep trying this method just to be sure this is the issue.
