After reading several posts regarding vortec conversions, I'm still confused as to whether or not the stock-length syty pushrods will work with the vortec heads. Can I use: stock pushrods and stock (1.5) rocker arms with the stock cam and Vortec heads?
Also, I'm debating a 412 cam. Could I use the stock pushrods with this cam and the aforementioned vortecs and rocker arms?
Feel free to give me a good bitch-slappin if this was covered before, but I honestly did not see specifically if the stock pushrods would be ok with either combo. Thanks.
