Question about price on original Typhoon rims in good condition

Hi everybody!
As the topic says, How much do i have to pay for 4 original Typhoon rims in good condition? I have found
them not far from me and the guy told me to give him a bid and honestly i do not have a clue what i should say to him?? Can someone please give me a pointer of what a set actually cost?

Also an stock Typhoon engine block in need of renovation, what kind of money do we speak of and what should i tell him haha!

The centre caps go for $75-100 if they are in excellent condition. I bought a set of rims on here a while back in ok condition on a bit of a deal and paid around $250. I don't think you'll be far off with $300 or thereabouts. There are plenty of "for sale" threads on here so have a look and see.

Condition makes a big difference in value of the original rims. Lines of oxidation under the clear coat is a common blemish. Rims with machined lines are worth more than polished rims.

I think at this point the center caps are worth as much as the rims themselves. A good set of rims/center caps is probably in the $600 range with a few minor blemishes. A near perfect set is probably 800-1000 (no oxidation at all), maybe more for an original mint set. A rough set is maybe $400. Polished rims are probably closer to $600. Ultimately they are worth what someone is willing to pay for them.
