Quick question regarding exterior cladding

Hello! Some personal tidbits about me, I am a senior in my undergraduate studies currently and am about to start interviewing for medical schools here in a couple weeks. I’m from southern Indiana and am a new owner of a 1992 GMC Typhoon (black/black; repainted from red/red). The truck’s got ~90k miles and is a bit of a work in progress. She runs and drives pretty well except for a slight slipping in first gear so I might spring for the 4l80e upgrade at some point. She’s a bit of a garage queen at the moment while I daily my Subaru. Her AC is out (blows hot) and the stereo and speakers are broken too (outsourcing this work to a local specialist). But other than that it’s just regular things like replacing tie rods, idler arm, seals, etc. She ain’t perfect, but she’s still a riot to drive.

The one part I couldn’t track down are the exterior cladding. The truck is missing both front fenders, both doors, and passenger rear corner. It’s also got a cracked rear fender which I might just patch together and repaint instead of replacing. I contacted https://www.sportmachines.net/ and got no response. Are they still around or have they gone under? Also found these guys https://www.hemmings.com/parts/item...3-GMC-SycloneTyphoon-Body-Cladding/17034.html who are selling cladding. I was wondering if there are any other sources that sell NOS or fiberglass reproductions (preferred) of the cladding.

Hey,

Sportmachines are still around. Try giving them a call, they picked up for me just the other day. As for other sources, Have you posted here in the want to buy section?

Other more seasoned members may be able to provide more information/ suggestions.
