Racetronix relay replacement?

Last night on the way home, the Sy died on me. The fuel pump isn't turning on. I checked the ECMB fuse and messed with the relay and test lead under the hood before calling AAA. I haven't done any real troubleshooting yet today.

I'm thinking it's either the pump itself or the Racetronix kit's relay near the tank. I know how to fix it if it's the pump. Anyone happen to know where I could find a replacement relay to match what came with the kit? I haven't looked at it since I installed it over 6 years ago... I'm not sure if it's something special that they have (being weatherproof), or if I can pick one up at just about any parts store.

Any info is appreciated. I'd rather not tear it apart, then have to spend forever trying to find the right part to replace it.

Ya, it's got a Turbo

It will be a standard 4/5 pin automotive relay, providing that's the problem.

Re: Racetronix relay replacement?

Turned out to not be the relay or the pump. There's one other thing in that same area (circuit-wise). I forgot to check the fuse on the power wire at the alternator. It was blown, and replacing it got me up and running again.

I'm a little worried about what caused the fuse to blow, but it seems to be fine so far, even with a smaller fuse (15A instead of 20A).

same thing happened to me about a year ago. Changed the fuse and it has never blown again.

Still would be nice for everyone to know how to come across that relay.

Re: Racetronix relay replacement?

FYI, I found out that the Racetronix upgraded power wire came loose and was hitting the exhaust/engine on the way up from the frame rail to the alternator (near the steering shaft). Apparently it was bouncing around and sometimes shorting out when I hit bumps. I've taped up the affected part of the wire and moved it out of the way until it gets a little warmer and I can fix it properly.
